“A small white origami crane, the classic folded paper bird with pointed wings, a long thin folded neck and a pointed tail, floats on a still green pond at dawn, mist on the water. Over about three seconds, in one continuous unbroken shot, its paper creases soften into feathers, the folded neck stretches and curves, and the paper bird grows into a real grey heron standing in the shallows; then it spreads its wings and lifts off the water, droplets falling. Camera low at water level, slow push-in, then tilts up to follow the take-off. Natural soft light, shallow depth of field. No text, no logos.”

Every line here comes from our own runs of Seedance 2.5.
Morphs in one take
Our paper crane unfolded into a heron and flew off, and an ice cube grew into a calving glacier. 4 of our 6 morph takes were one continuous shot. The other two popped or dissolved.
4 of 6 morph takes one continuous shot
Fabric and water move
Sheets snapped in a gale and a flamenco skirt flared through a spin. Water poured past the lens behind a waterfall and churned in a night ferry's wake.

Holds a face
A squint into low sun, a stare between rounds, a laugh held back at a toast. Each face stayed the same person from the first frame to the last.

The work
Curated from what Seedance 2.5 made in our studio. HoverTap a clip for its prompt.
White bedsheets on a rooftop washing line snap and billow violently in a gale, pegs straining, one sheet cracking like a sail, a dense city skyline and racing grey clouds behind. Camera low looking up through the sheets, slow drift sideways. Overcast daylight with a break of sun. Sound: howling wind, flapping cotton, the line creaking. No text, no logos.
Use promptUseTop-down view of a painted wooden spinning top whirling on a pale kitchen table. In one continuous move the camera rises straight up and the scale shifts: the swirl of the top's painted stripes becomes the spiral cloud bands of a hurricane seen from orbit over a blue ocean, its eye where the top's tip was. Smooth, unbroken, no cut. No text.
Use promptUseClose-up portrait of a weathered fisherman in his sixties on the deck of a small boat at golden hour, squinting steadily into the low sun, sun-lined skin, grey stubble, a yellow oilskin collar. Sea spray drifts across the frame and he keeps the same calm, fixed squint; only the spray, his collar in the breeze and the light move. Camera static with a gentle sway from the swell. Natural colour, documentary feel. No talking, no text.
Use promptUseClose-up of an astronaut's face behind a gold-tinted helmet visor, perfectly still and calm, eyes open and steady, as blue earthlight slowly sweeps across the visor and her face, the curve of the Earth reflected in the glass. Camera static. Only the light and reflections move. No text, no flags, no patches.
Use promptUseA hand plugs a coloured patch cable into a jack, rows of small LEDs begin to pulse in rhythm, and a fingertip slowly turns a knurled knob. Shallow depth of field, moody blue and amber light, brushed metal panels. Camera slow lateral slide. Sound: a cable click, then a warm evolving synth tone. Plain panels, no labels, no text, no brand.
Use promptUseA grandmother at a family dinner table listens to an off-screen toast, trying hard to keep a straight face; her lips press together, her eyes start to water and her shoulders shake slightly as she slowly, visibly fails to hold back a laugh. Warm candle and lamp light, blurred family and wine glasses around. Camera static medium close-up. No talking, no text.
Use promptUseA long freight train storms past a country level crossing at speed, dry golden grass beside the track flattening in its wake, dust and loose straw whipping up, crossing lights flashing. Camera static at the crossing, low beside the track. Late afternoon summer light. Sound: horn blast, thundering wheels on rails, crossing bell. No text, no logos on the wagons.
Use promptUseFrom a wet rock ledge behind a waterfall, looking out through the falling sheet of water: sunlight breaks through in shifting bright patches, the curtain tears and reforms, mist swirling, green valley blurred beyond. Camera slowly slides sideways along the ledge. Sound: thunderous roar of falling water. No text.
Use promptUseA vintage boxy rally car drifts sideways through a gravel hairpin on a forest stage, the rear swinging wide, a spray of stones and dust flying toward the lens. Camera low at the apex on the outside of the bend, static, the car passing close. Dappled afternoon light. Sound: engine roar, gravel rattle, stones hitting. Plain car, no numbers, no sponsor decals, no text.
Use promptUseAt a packed night festival, hands release a glowing paper lantern from the middle of the crowd. The camera rides up with that one lantern in one continuous rise: faces lit from below fall away, the crowd shrinks into a field of hundreds of drifting lanterns and warm lights, the town and river appear below. Smooth vertical ascent, no cut. Sound: crowd murmur fading to wind. No text, no logos.
Use promptUseFrom the stern rail of a ferry at night, the wake churns white and foaming under the stern lights, spray catching the light, dark water folding away to a distant line of harbour lights. Camera looking straight down then slowly tilting up to the horizon. Sound: deep engine rumble, rushing churning water. No text, no logos.

Prompt tips
What changed Seedance 2.5's results in our runs.
Spell out the change
Name what each part becomes. Our crane popped into a paper boat until the prompt said the creases turn to feathers and the neck stretches.
its creases soften into feathers, the folded neck stretches and curvesRule out the dissolve
Our first skyline-to-bookshelf take faded one picture into the other. Asking for no dissolve gave a real join.
no dissolve, no double exposure; one becomes the otherAllow a few minutes
Our 1080p clips took between 3 and 7 minutes each. Start one and get on with the next shot.
