What it does best

Every line here comes from our own runs of Kling 3.0.

  • Lands your last frame

We gave it a rally car in a forest as the first frame and an owl over a night road as the last. The clip opened on one and ended on the other, with no hard cut between.

Both frames matched in our one first-and-last run

  • Keeps your picture

From our rally still, the car drove on through the splash with its livery intact. All three clips we made were single shots with no cuts.

Livery kept for 3 s; 3 of 3 clips without cuts

Prompt tips

What changed Kling 3.0's results in our runs.

  1. Describe the move, not the place

With a start frame, the picture sets the scene. Our golden hour and gravel never showed up in the forest clip.

the car accelerates away from the camera
  2. Use a full-size frame

A 160x90 thumbnail failed with "Image pixel is invalid". The same shot at 900x506 worked.

    start frame 900x506 or larger
  3. Crop before you start

With a start frame, Kling ignores the aspect ratio you pick and keeps the picture's shape. Crop it first.

crop the start frame to 9:16 for a vertical clip
