What to expect: prices, drafts and refunds

How prices work, how to keep a draft cheap, how long a video can be, what's free, and what Creator does with your uploads.

Updated

Prices

The price is on the button before anything runs, and it's exact: what the button says is what you pay. Credits come off your balance when a run starts.

If a run fails, its credits come back on their own: to your balance, or to your free trial if that's what paid. You'll find failed runs in your Library under Failed, each with a Retry button.

Cheap drafts

Ask for a "cheapest quick draft" and you get an image for 3 credits.

Say "cheapest" or "keep it cheap" anywhere in your ask and Creator plans on the cheapest model that can do the job. For an ad or a film, that means every shot. What Creator says it planned is what you're billed for.

Video

The longest single clip is 15 seconds.

A longer film or ad is a project. Creator plans the scenes first, then gives you a quote for the whole thing before anything is spent. When you shoot it:

  • You can stop at any time. Shots that haven't started aren't charged; a shot that's already rendering is.
  • If the quote is more than your balance, you'll see a line like "You have 120 credits · short by 45 credits", with Top up and a Make it fit button that re-plans on cheaper models. Make it fit shows its own price on the button too, for example "Make it fit · 96 credits", and it only offers a plan you can afford.

Images

  • Up to 4 images per run.
  • Words in images: GPT Image 2 handles text and layouts well, so it's Creator's pick for invites, posters and memes. Check the spelling before you print or post.
  • Logos: ask for a transparent PNG and you get one. A transparent background doesn't add to the price.

Phone and social sizes

Say where it's going, like "for Reels" or "for my iPhone", and the shape follows: tall 9:16 for both of those.

Free finishing

These cost nothing:

  • A looping GIF from any video of 10 seconds or less.
  • A voice line mixed over a music bed.

Your uploads

Attach a photo and Creator can:

  • Make it the first frame of a video.
  • Use it as the starting point for an edit, like "remove the background and make it a clean white product shot".
  • Use it as the face of a character, so the same person appears in every shot.

When the subject is you, your pet or your product, Creator asks for a photo of them, so it looks like the real thing and not a generic one.

Languages

Ask in Spanish, Japanese, Arabic or another language and Creator answers in the same language.

What you make is yours

You own what you make and can use it for personal or commercial work. The details are in the Terms, section 5, "What you create".

Everything you make is saved in your Library. Projects keep all the work for one job together: the plan, the shots, the music and the finished cut.
